Chase and I hit the road for Clemson two weeks ago to spend some much needed time with family and friends. We left Thursday evening and while Chase drove I edited pictures. We stayed in a rental home on Lake Keowee. What a view we woke up too!
We couldn't find the keys the first night and almost slept in the car haha. Whats a trip without a little adventure right? The next morning we met up with my mentor and had breakfast and then hit the road into Clemson.
After breakfast we got to meet up with another sweet friend and mentor (God completely blessed me with women to look up to during my time at Clemson) and take their family photos! Click their picture below to see their adorable family session with their sweet baby girl, Rachel!
After that we got to meet my parents and little sister who flew in from Texas to go on a tour of Tiger town! It was really cool to see it from her eyes. Saturday was all about Clemson Football. It was so fun to see so many faces that we have missed so dearly in a place that is so special to us. It's truly so special because of everything God did at Clemson and is still doing. Totally didn't hurt that Clemson beat FSU that day!
At the end of the trip it was time for some updated family photos for the Garrett's. Every picture that I am in were taken on a tripod with a remote clicker. Haha just wait till you see Chase trying to test to see if the clicker works while I made sure the settings were correct.
It's hard living so far away from family! But it makes the times when we see each other that much sweeter.
